Alex Evets often finds himself mystified with the circumstances of his daily life. His work—which is often self-deprecating, humorous, or quietly critical—always comes from a place of love and curiosity. Evets earned his BFA from Washington University in St. Louis, where he currently serves as the Admissions Counselor for the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts. In that role, he meets talented young artists and future architects from all over the country and effusively and earnestly makes the case to them that St. Louis, Missouri is a wonderful place for them to achieve their goals.
